The 24th annual Winter Solabration
This Yuletime celebration of Christmas and Solstice customs features storytelling, a mummer's play, and
sword and Morris dance performances, along with community singing, wassail, and traditional American
community dances for all. The revelry begins at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday,
December 19th, and ends with the mysterious Abbot's Bromley Horn Dance at midnight. At the
Highlands Masonic Center
at 3550 N. Federal Blvd. in Denver. More information at

Sunday, September 6th (day before Labor Day), 2 p.m.,
8th Annual Little Snake River MusicFest at the Little Snake River Museum, Savery, WY
($ by donation). New this year, Contra Dance for all ages. Caller Pat Tognoni with the Last
Minute String Band. No experience, no partner? No problem! Ongoing live music until
approx. 7 p.m. featuring the band Slater Falls & special guests, including
cowboy poets. This event is sponsored by the Little Snake River Valley Museum and the Carbon County
School District # 1 Recreation Board. Concessions available 2-5 p.m. or bring your own picnic &
drinks. Camp on the Museum grounds (call Museum 1st) or stay in motels in Dixon or Baggs
